Zone planning is used to define the kitchen cabinets required for the storage items in these six essential work areas. This shortens distances and means that you can keep everything exactly where you need.
Food Storage Zone
Food is kept in this zone. The focus should be on easy access to those necessities when planning this zone.
Kitchenware Storage Zone
An area for storage containers, dinnerware, glasses, etc. These items can be stored in-wall or base cabinets. Consider using plate holders to store dinnerware especially for drawers cabinet.
This zone stores electrical appliances such as a blender, toaster, rice cooker, and slow cooker. The appliances can be kept in the cabinets or they can be also placed on the countertops depending on the usage’s behaviour.
